Description:
The person in this position will perform
publicity and marketing activities for the Douglas County Law Library.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and carry out a program
to publicize the Law Library and its services in consultation with the Law
Librarian and other designated staff.
Duties:
Design, produce, and oversee distribution of flyers, brochures, and
other printed material to advertise the Law Library and its services.
Design, produce, and oversee distribution of announcements and advertisements
to appropriate print media to advertise the Law Library and its services.
Design, produce, and oversee distribution of announcements and advertisements
to appropriate electronic media to advertise the Law Library and its services.
Requirements:
Possess good communication skills.
Personal computer experience.
Ability to work systematically.
Possess good keyboarding skills.
Ability to work courteously with other people.
Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred:
Publicity and marketing coursework and/or experience.
Experience in community needs assessment.
Knowledge of print and electronic media advertising.
Experience designing flyers and brochures.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word.
